LUCKY FROG - FOLKLORE EXHIBITION
I teamed up with Russ Etheridge again to make these artworks for the Lucky Frog - Folklore exhibition at the Phoenix Gallery in Brighton. It was such a fun project to work on, as always with Russ, and getting to work in 3D is always exciting, I can't wait to do more. The background elements were designed by me in Photoshop and built in Blender. The characters were designed, modelled, animated and rendered by Russ in Medium VR and Cinema 4D, then I did a final paint over in Photoshop to make everything POP! I hope you like the work.
"This piece was inspired by a folklore tale, stumbled upon while visiting Devon, in an issue of Devon Life Magazine (not our usual reading material). The story is of a famous Tor, in Dartmoor, where it is said that walkers have been getting lost in the fog, and losing their fingers to a creature who lives amongst the rocks."
